Job Description:

Mars is undergoing a transformation journey to modernize its business processes and enterprise resource planning systems (ERPs). This involves replacing the previous generation ERPs with an enterprise-wide Digital Core and a modernized cloud-based ERP (SAP S/4 HANA), tailored for Mars' manufacturing businesses. Our Digital Core (DC) program will unlock segment and corporate strategic priorities, drive efficiency, and create enterprise-wide value. The R2R PMO is globally responsible for Reporting, Knowledge Management, Methodologies, Stage Gates, Planning, Interdependencies, Risk & Issue Management, and Change Control within the Finance workstream for the Digital Core Program. This PMO will work closely with Global Process Owners (GPOs), DT and other PMOs (including Central and Segment) across the program.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Experience within Project/Program/Portfolio Management preferred
  • 5 years’+ experience in Digital, business partnership or business process management roles
  • Broad understanding of a company’s business and Digital strategies and the ways in which technology is used to impact and enhance the business
  • Strong project/portfolio management skills with familiarity in a variety of tools and techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as sound interpersonal skills
  • Ability to positively influence associates by managing work through others
  • Must be customer focused with demonstrated ability to form productive relationship with a wide constituency, including senior business leaders, Digital team members and project leaders

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • DT Finance Program Management: Accountable for the development and execution of the project plan for the DT Finance scope (including Shared Template, Corporate and EDGE). Ensure the DT Project Managers align the necessary stakeholders (GPOs, SIs, Transversal, etc) to define success criteria and build a detailed schedule with clear milestones aligned to achieving these criteria; proactively identify, assess, and manage risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure project delivery remains on track.
  • DT Finance Project Team Leadership: Lead DT project meetings, resolve cross-functional issues, and manage the project-related communication flow between all functions and levels within the program. Keep the DT project team energized and engaged to drive delivery. Accountable for the DT Finance project plans to be incorporated into the overall Finance Monday.com project plans.
  • Project Governance: Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of governance standards across Finance, including Stage Gates, Technical Governance, decision processes, and common project templates and tooling. Work with both the R2R PMO Lead and Global PMO Lead and business partners to align and adhere to transformation governance, including financial planning and management.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on project performance, ensuring key milestones and deliverables are met on time, within budget, and to required quality. Log, share, and implement lessons to continuously improve delivery across the program.
  • Program Charter Development and Alignment: Define, document, and maintain the S4 HANA program charter, ensuring clear articulation of technical objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria. Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical goals with business strategy, and ensure all technical requirements are captured and agreed upon.
  • Technical Budget Planning and Approval: Oversee the creation, management, and approval of the technical budget for the S4 HANA program. Work with finance and technical teams to estimate costs for hardware, software, integration, and resources; monitor expenditures to ensure alignment with approved budgets.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.

The pay range shown is applicable to all locations listed within the job posting:USD 119,040.00 - USD 163,680.00
