Job Description:

We are now looking for a Project Management for S/4HANA Transformation to onboard our GBS in Lisbon.

Responsibilities - your mission
Be a pivotal part of Airbus' major business transformation by ensuring the smooth execution of our S/4HANA program.

Project Governance & Controlling:

  • Supporting the definition, implementation, and monitoring of project management standards, processes, and templates.
  • Continuously tracking project progress against the project plan, identifying deviations, and developing corrective actions in coordination with the Project Lead.
  • Preparing and conducting project status meetings, as well as creating meaningful reports and dashboards for various stakeholder levels.
  • Maintaining and managing project documentation and ensuring quality standards.
  • Proactively contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO processes and project management practices within the S/4HANA program.


Planning & Coordination:

  • Assisting in the creation and updating of the overall project plan, including milestones, resources, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinating sub-projects and work packages, as well as tracking dependencies.
  • Organizing and facilitating project meetings and workshops, including minute-taking and follow-up on action items.


Risk, Issue & Change Management:

  • Establishing and maintaining the risk and issue registers.
  • Proactively identifying, assessing, and tracking project risks and issues, and supporting the development of mitigation measures.
  • Drive the documentation and tracking of risks, issues, and changes, ensuring timely escalation and supporting the development of mitigation strategies.


Communication & Stakeholder Management:

  • Ensuring transparent and effective project communication.
  • Preparing and assisting in the delivery of clear, concise, and compelling decision papers, reports, and presentations for various stakeholders, including project teams, management, steering committees, and C-level executives.
  • Acting as a central point of contact for project-related information.


Resource & Budget Tracking:

  • Supporting resource planning and tracking.
  • Assisting with project budget controlling and cost tracking.


Tool Administration:

  • Administering and maintaining the project management tools used.


Expert advice:

  • Act as a key contact for project interfaces regarding PMO processes and standards.


Agreement and mutual agreement with cross-functional internal and external, partly international interfaces on different hierarchical levels and with partly different interests.

Requirements - our ideal candidate will have

  • A diploma/bachelor's degree in business administration or engineering or several years of professional experience in consulting, project management, or a comparable qualification.
  • Proven multi-year experience in a PMO role within complex business transformation projects
  • Business fluent English (at least C1 level), both written and spoken.
  • Intermediate level German (B1)
  • Solid experience in applying project management methodologies (LBIP and agile, e.g., Scrum/Kanban).
  • Proactive, independent, and results-oriented work ethic.
  • Strong analytical skills, a structured approach to work, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the proven ability to articulate complex topics clearly, concisely, and in an audience-appropriate manner to diverse stakeholders, ranging from project community members to C-level executives
  • Very good knowledge of G Suite (esp., Slides, Sheets, Docs, Looker Studio, Forms)
  • Experience with common project management tools (e.g., Jira, cPlace); knowledge of SAP Cloud ALM is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to Germany (approximately every 6-8 weeks).
