Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the standardization of China daily financial operations related to Procurement to Payment, Order to Cash, Inventory, fixed assets, Supply Chain cost, and general accounting by entry level.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to rectify any situation and ensure smooth operation process and continual improvement for system and daily process.
  • Manage the period-end closing for China accounting and support global team for assessing accuracy of accounting data and ensuring the timelines meet established departmental and corporate requirements.
  • Prepare for overall account reconciliations and work with Accounting & Reporting Manager to drill down Balance Sheet and Income Statement variance and explanation.
  • Work with the FP&A Manager and Finance BP on trade and marketing operation activities and follow up critical collections. Responsible for period actual results.
  • Support financial system implementation, internal and external process transition.
  • Responsible for a robust internal control environment. Assess and document processes, maintaining procedure documentation for complex financial and accounting issues, including researching, and preparing accounting issues position papers.
  • Keep the Finance team managers updated with potential impacts to the business.
  • Keep the team motivated and continually learning to support the need for process efficiencies, to understand risks and make the call outs to further decrease exposure.
  • Assist with the preparation of ad-hoc reports, financial reviews, statutory auditing, and system projects as directed by the leadership team.
  • Ensure the strict confidentiality and privacy of the Company’s financial records.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, and management. CPA or post-graduate professional degree (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.) preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in finance operation and entry level positions including AP, Fixed Assets, GL... etc.
  • Experience in the areas of business operation, business transformation, organizational effectiveness, internal control, and business process improvement in the past is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to communicate well with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong ownership, hands on, multi-tasks ability and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills, with a high level of proficiency in Excel and MS Word.
  • Strong organizational, time management and prioritizing skills, with accuracy and attention to detail while working under tight deadlines.
  • Self-directed, with demonstrated initiative and ability to follow through and complete overlapping projects.
  • Demonstrated integrity and professionalism with ability to work successfully both independently and within a team environment.
  • Ability to respect and maintain matters of a confidential nature, including information regarding monetary transactions.
