This position will act as a key financial partner to the Pet Nutrition division. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our financial data, starting at the distribution center level through a meticulous period-end closing process. You will not only ensure that all financial processes and policies are followed but also proactively identify and propose changes to improve governance and control. By performing detailed financial estimations in partnership with our sales and logistics teams, you will help align our business model with the long-term strategic plan for Pet Nutrition, drive teams to meet annual targets, and provide accurate visibility to leadership each financial cycle.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum Qualifications – Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, administration or similar qualification
- Preferred Qualifications – Advance degree in accounting, finance, administration or other similar qualification
- +2 years in Financial Planning and Analysis, preferred experience In traditional/distribution channel
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, …), knowledge of power query
- English
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Point person that ensures financial transactions are processed accurately and on time for DTS P&L at distribution center level.
- Ensures that financial processes and politics are followed by (order to cash, accounts assignment, etc)
- Understand, evaluate and recommend operational changes based on financial perspective: conciliations, audits to processes, etc. -
- Financial advisor for DTS projects / Implementations & other requirements
- Build and track Year End Estimate by P&L Line by Distribution Center, pushing conversations with different teams to reach targets along the year
- Period closing activities, including management reporting Insights, ad-hoc analysis and requests by stakeholders
- Perform ad-hoc analysis depending on market current situation, including innovation feasibility
