💼 The Role
At Mars Food we have an opportunity to support the Customer Development team with key administration tasks through managing the processing of invoices for their accounts, providing their customers with key sales data, and providing data and information as required by the account team and the customer to enable a smooth running of the business and maintain a strong relationship with the customer.
The role ensures that our internal sales team and customers receive accurate information regarding sales, promotions and new lines in a timely manner, and the correct amount is paid to agreed timeline targets. The position will involve using customer systems for weekly reporting in sales trackers, local aspects of customer invoice processing, ledger management (audit claims), promotional proposal forms and customer new line introductions.

✅ What We’re Looking For
- Strong analytical skills with a good working knowledge of Excel
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of internal stakeholders
- Enjoyment of administrative tasks and supporting a team environment
- Candidates from a variety of backgrounds, including administration, accounts receivable, customer service, field sales, finance, or similar
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Produce weekly reporting by extracting data from customer systems and updating sales trackers and EPOS reports
- Manage customer invoices, including approval, liaising with MFS and CDMs, maintaining full audit trails, and chasing missing or late invoices
- Support Customer Development Managers (CDMs) with timely data and recommendations on releases and under-accruals
- Accurately complete customer promotional nomination forms in line with deadlines, ensuring CDM sign-off
- Provide administrative support to account teams, including derogation forms and price file management
- Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency, including automation and the development of self-service solutions
