Job Purpose/Overview

Connected Commerce Media Lead will maximize demand sale and profit by identifying, implementing, and analyzing the best online performance, marketing strategies with key local marketplaces such as Amazon as prioritized and also Rakuten and Yahoo

Connected Commerce Media Lead will engage in initiatives to improve promotion ROI and customer experience through activities such as merchandising, digital brand content and product page executions.

Day-to-day operations are to conduct in digital marketing campaigns, search / display advertising, and KPI reporting

Requires ability to clearly define action priorities, roadmaps, and report them to necessary stakeholders in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work and collaborate with key account leads and amazon manager to achieve financial goals
  • Analyze data to maximize demand sales and profit by optimizing performance KPIs such as traffic, conversion rates, average customer spend, as well as AD performance KPIs
  • Analyze sales and consumer behaviors by utilizing AMC as well as internal / external performance measurement tools
  • Communicate well with amazon ads team to stay on top of AD trend and make best use of new AD menus
  • Optimize budget spending according to campaign result including non-paid
  • Being a liaison between sales, marketing and external agencies to effectively execute marketplace-specific needs including merchandising, digital marketing and digital promotional initiatives
  • Make recommendations to continually improve performance in merchandising management and forecasting
  • Provide performance reports to supervisors on weekly and monthly basis
  • Learn and fully understand pet care industry to improve customer experience
  • Adapt quickly to utilize global & local reporting tools working with digital solution stakeholder
  • Responsible for the forecasted revenue
  • Support to manage P/L for marketplace for further business expansion
  • Track sales and AD performance KPIs to prepare insight reports
  • Run weekly/monthly business meetings to provide reports with key sales, product selling, web KPIs and AD campaign results
  • Utilize site analytic tools daily-weekly-monthly to gather sales/user data for periodical reports
  • Learn and incorporate best practices from the market and global cases
  • Budget effectively to meet targeted ROI and key KPIs including acquisition and retention
  • Develop strategy and launch exclusive products cooperating with stakeholders
  • Understand full funnel digital marketing approach and work close with marketing team
  • Develop plans and execute non-paid marketing initiatives such as SEO
  • Supervise and monitor all site activities and product page developing process
  • Assure site experience quality by conducting UI/UX testing where applicable
  • Collect and analyse consumer voices to maximize their shopping experience

Education & Professional Qualifications

  • 3+yeas eCommerce and marketplace business experience

Knowledge / Experience

  • Understanding digital commerce frameworks
  • Self-starter mentality with the high ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding digital solutions and products
  • Highly analytical to provide business insights and quickly taking actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to proactively identify key issues and lead actionable solution development.
  • Native Japanese / Business level English
  • Basic knowledge for Google Analytics and MA/CDP
  • Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
