Commercial Operational Buyer – Co-manufacturing/ Co-packing

Job Purpose/Overview

This position is responsible for managing the price negotiation and a lean end-to-end supply chain for co-packing and co-manufacturing. He/She will work closely with strategic sourcing manager to ensure the efficient and effective execution of the sourcing strategy into responsible units. This role will also lead the copacker/factory activity management in order to support the implementation of customer units’ activities and projects for both New Project Development and Value leadership initiatives.

This position is expected to collaborate cross functionally within organization as well as relevant external organizations and associates to achieve the agreed business goals.

Primary accountabilities are:

• Ensure successful implementation of all co-packing/co-man related activities, bridging with market activities team supporting on-time execution.

• Engage with stakeholder from co-packer/co-man unit, research and development, and quality assurance team.

• Manage Thailand co-packing/co-man supply chain to ensure supply chain continuity.

• Manage negotiations of existing co-man products with alignment from Co-man strategic buyer.

• Lead and identify day to day operation efficiency improvement program.

• Provide the first line of escalation on potential business impact or supply disruption.

• Hold the supplier relationship management in the aspect of operational level in order to deliver the value chain optimization in total value to business.

The role is based at BKK with regular travel to related co-packer/co-manufacturers in Thailand or occasionally to the customer units.
