Associate Relations Manager (Employee Relations Manager)

Hybrid working (up to 50%)

Location: Warsaw

We are seeking an experienced Associate Relations Manager to serve as a key point of contact for associate relations issues within our organization. The purpose of this role is to handle inquiries, mitigate risks, and resolve issues fairly and objectively, ensuring alignment with our Five Principles. You will be instrumental in building trust, ensuring labor law compliance, and proactively identifying insights to foster a positive and productive workplace.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Ensure associate and business advocacy; lead grievance and disciplinary processes in line with Mars guidelines to build a fair, trustworthy, and inclusive workplace.

  • Evaluate and manage Associate Relations questions, concerns, and issues escalated from client groups.

  • Coach and advise P&O Business Partners (HR BP), Leadership Teams, line managers, and associates on Associate Relations matters.

  • Make recommendations to improve policies, practices, and procedures for better consistency and effectiveness.

  • Deliver Associate Relations capability-building programs for line managers and leadership teams.

  • Partner with and coach line managers on the performance management process and documentation.

  • Review and recommend the next steps regarding separations, severance options, and transition assistance.

  • Perform thorough associate relations investigations and prepare recommendations based on findings.

  • Identify associate relations trends and partner with the Associate Relations Lead on appropriate actions.

  • Ensure accurate and timely case management using the ServiceNow system.

  • Drive regional projects within the field of Associate Relations.

What are we looking for?

  • A university degree or equivalent, preferably in Human Resources, Labor/Industrial Relations, or a Legal field.

  • Five or more years of experience working in Human Resources or Industrial Relations.

  • Deep knowledge of applicable Polish employment and labor relations regulations.

  • Strong communication, written, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in both Polish and English.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict management skills.

  • Proven ability to handle and maintain confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while managing competing projects.

  • Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.

  • Expertise in HR procedures and policies, Employee relations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving initiatives to foster company culture.
