Mars is looking for an Assistant Brand Manager to support the DINE & WHISKAS Marketing team across full 360 campaigns—traditional, digital, and everything in between.

Role Title: Assistant Brand Manager
Location: Melbourne, Victoria
Hours: Permanent, Full time
Reporting to: Portfolio Marketing Director - Cat Main Meal

What you’ll do:

• Drive market and consumer insights by analysing multiple data sources to inform brand strategy, category understanding, and competitive positioning for DINE & WHISKAS.

• Support and execute marketing plans across media, innovation, NPD launches, and 360 activations, ensuring cross-functional alignment, high-quality delivery, and in-market performance tracking.

• Lead innovation projects with R&D, Supply, Finance, and other teams to deliver winning product propositions within an 18-month pipeline.

• Localise and deploy global brand programs and partner with ANZ and NZ teams to roll out best-in-class toolkits, digital content, eCommerce improvements, and social media engagement.

• Manage brand performance and operations, including post-activity evaluation, budget tracking, PO/Invoice processes, and adherence to key governance frameworks (Stage Gate, S&OP+, Range Reviews).

Your unique ingredients

• Bachelor of Business (preferably with a Major in Marketing including digital exposure and expertise)

• CPG branded experience, implementing brand campaigns and launching NPD across many marketing elements including traditional, digital paid and organic, events.

• Well organized, successful at prioritization, attentive to details, clear oral and written communicator.

• Action Oriented. Takes initiative, entrepreneurial, can hit the ground running and move projects forward right from the start.
