Application Lead Finance | hybrid | Guararema

The Application Lead Finance (OneStream) is responsible for ensuring the operational readiness, stability, and continuous improvement of Financial Consolidation and Reporting solutions during and after large-scale transformation programs, including S/4 Digital Core deployments.

This role acts as the key bridge between transformation programs and steady-state operations, leading service introduction, vendor governance, and operational integration to ensure Business as Usual (BAU) continuity with strong ITIL alignment

1. OneStream & Finance Application Technical Operations

  • Own the technical administration and operational stability of OneStream, HFM and related Finance reporting applications.

  • Manage and administer OneStream, HFM applications, and associated modules

  • Management of system licenses

  • Management of TCO (total cost of ownership) on applications in scope

  • Support data imports, mappings, calculations, and metadata management

  • Assist in application development activities, including reports and dashboards, under Product direction

  • Review new releases, assess functional impacts (new and deprecated features), and communicate changes to stakeholders

  • Support automation, accelerators, GenAI usage, and best practices to improve performance and configuration

2. Vendor Management & Technical Governance

  • Lead the operational management of third-party support vendors, ensuring service quality and SLA adherence.

  • Drive vendor execution for the build, testing, and deployment of new solutions

  • Manage vendor activities during upgrades, enhancements, and defect resolution

  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex incidents and performance issues

  • Conduct root cause analysis and ensure permanent resolution of recurring issues

  • Track service performance metrics and drive continuous improvement actions

3. Environment & Release Management

  • Ensure controlled and stable promotion of changes across environments.

  • Support migration of changes across Dev, Test, and Production environments

  • Coordinate testing activities with vendors and stakeholders

  • Validate data integrity and functional performance before production deployment

  • Support Service Introduction and hypercare activities for the new scope

4. Incident, Data & Operational Support

  • Ensure business continuity during Period End Closing and critical finance cycles.

  • Manage OneStream, HFM support tickets (creation, follow-up, resolution)

  • Troubleshoot performance issues and break/fix scenarios

  • Support data-related issues (imports, mappings, transformation logic)

  • Provide operational readiness support during PEC cycles

  • Monitor integration flows and data movement between finance systems

5. Documentation, Audit & Compliance Support

  • Ensure transparency, traceability, and audit readiness of the application landscape.

  • Maintain and enhance Support Desktop Procedures and Task Lists

  • Contribute to ServiceNow knowledge documentation

  • Track and report operational metrics and service KPIs

  • Support recurring internal audit reporting (metadata, security, business rule changes)

  • Ensure documentation is current and aligned with ITSM standards

6. Finance Landscape & Stakeholder Alignment

  • Act as a technical bridge between Finance, Product, and Digital Technology teams.

  • Support Financial Consolidation and Reporting systems (OneStream, Data Lake, HFM, and related platforms)

  • Ensure alignment between Product strategy and operational support execution

  • Collaborate with Platform, Security, Data, and Integration teams to ensure supportability

  • Provide technical advisory input for transformation initiatives and Digital Core evolution
