Responsibilities of the position:

  • To execute APA policies, control procedures in general accounting.
  • Ensure compliance with local legal requirements with good quality
  • Oversee the accuracy and timeliness on related posting
  • Performed a good collaboration with local team and GSC team
  • Ensure period end close of book performed on time with high quality
  • To closely follow up on emails and other information obtained from colleague to ensure good data quality on process
  • Work with auditor and make sure request are managed in time with good quality
  • Build up good working relationship with key stakeholders and have deeply understanding for their business needs
  • Support process and system migration
  • Contribute process improvement idea and support process improvement
  • Support team other process if necessary

Measurement / success criteria of the position:

  • Ensure every general accounting posting in book are aligned with policy and with supporting
  • Ensure activities to be completed per global timeline and standards
  • None or Minor items pointed out by internal and external auditors

Learning opportunities in the position:

  • Professional accounting knowledge
  • Internal/external communication skill
  • Financial reports, such as reconciliation, facilitation reports
  • Process and system migration
  • Project management

Requirements for the position (Looking for):

  • Solid background in finance and accounting area
  • Quick learner
  • Strong sense of responsibility and ownership
  • Result and quality oriented with high sense of urgency
  • Prior experience of working on ERP system would be an added advantage
  • Good knowledge of MS office, viz, Word, Excel, etc
  • Familiar with MS Outlook & Internet
  • Good communication skills – should be able to independently communicate with stakeholders via emails, telephone, etc by English
  • Good personal attributes – Matured, confident & a team player
  • ATR experience would be required
