Senior Advisor, GRC

Job Description

Role Purpose

The role is responsible for executing day-to-day GRC delivery activities, including control testing, evidence review, documentation, and operational issue support, in line with defined methodologies and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute control testing activities in accordance with approved test plan and procedures.

• Perform evidence collection, validation, and analysis to support assurance conclusions.

• Coordination with the stakeholders for data requirement, process understanding, Issue

• discussions and required support.

• Accurately document testing results, observations, and supporting rationale in GRC tools.

• Maintain testing documentation, working papers, and control records to ensure audit readiness.

• Seek clarifications proactively and escalate uncertainties to leads.

• Support issue monitoring activities, including status updates and evidence tracking.

• Perform GRC tool updates related to issues, action plans, and remediation evidence.

• Assist in data extraction and basic reporting for GRC dashboards.

• Support 1st Line of Defense (1LoD) trainings, including coordination and documentation

Qualifications and Experience

• Chartered Accountant (CA)

• 4-5 years of post‑qualification experience in GRC, internal audit, risk assurance, compliance testing, or similar roles.

• Hands‑on experience in:

• Control testing and evidence review

• Documentation of testing results and observations

• Supporting issue tracking and remediation activities

• Working with structured methodologies and defined SOPs

• Working or basic exposure to GRC tools

• Foundational understanding of COSO / ERM frameworks

• Experience supporting audits, risk assessments, or assurance engagements
