Key Responsibilities:
- Develop automated functional and regression tests, framework and solutions, in turn supporting the rapid creation and development of automated tests for integration into a CI/CD pipeline.
- Working within an Agile environment using BDD and/or TDD, as well as supporting deliveries via Agile methodology.
- Work with the wider Maersk Community to share experiences and ensure a coordinated and mutually supportive approach to automation across Maersk IT.
- Participating in decision-making regarding the integration of software packages and programmes to support Test Automation.
- Support continuous improvement of the automation capability with the teams by proposing enhancements based on testing need and/or industry advances, continuously increase quality across the board.
- Expand and maintain our existing testing infrastructure
- Incorporate new testing and verification techniques into the development process
- Advise and encourage QA and ENG practices to keep testing and verification a key part of the entire development pipeline
Who are we looking for:
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT or similar technical programs
- Certified in ISTQB
Experience:
- Preferably 5+ years’ experience in software testing while familiar with the Software Development Lifecycle of moderate to complex systems
- More than 3 years of hands on experience in Test Automation
- Intermediate experience in Web service testing, both manual and automated is needed
- Working knowledge in Agile SCRUM Methodology preferred
- Unit testing experience in multiple languages
- Familiarity with version control systems – git/bitbucket
- Strong experience with software development and software technologies including cloud
- Experience in programming and scripting
- Proficiency in Black, Grey, and White Box testing
- Experience designing and testing APIs/SDKs a plus
- Belief in a culture of “never fix the same bug twice”
- Obsessively passionate and inquisitive, and seek to solve everyday problems in innovative ways
Skills
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
- CI - hands on configuration and setup
- Knowledge on Test Management tools such as Jira, Xray, Test Manager
- Ability to work independently, collaborate with cross functional groups and manage multiple assignments
- A strong engineering, scientific or mathematical background and good communication abilities are essential. Outgoing personality with an international mind-set able to work with a multi-level and diverse workforce
- Is results oriented and has a high degree of accountability, commitment and responsibility
- Is a Team Player
- Good understanding with testing methodologies (ISTQB, TMAP, etc.)
