Are you ready to take the lead in shaping the future of container terminal development? At APM Terminals, we’re building a new greenfield terminal in Laldia, Chattogram and we’re looking for a Project Controls Lead to join our project leadership team.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in delivering one of our most strategic projects. You’ll ensure transparency, accuracy, and proactive management across all aspects of project controls—helping us deliver on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.

What you’ll do

• Own project controls reporting and governance, ensuring one source of truth for performance and status.
• Lead the project controls function, including planning, risk, cost, and change management.
• Implement and maintain project management systems and tools (PMWeb, Primavera P6, SharePoint).
• Drive adherence to APMT standards, processes, and the Project Execution Plan.
• Facilitate KPI reporting, risk management, and change control processes.
• Build strong relationships across the project team, HQ, contractors, and suppliers.

What we’re looking for

• 15+ years’ experience, including at least 7 years in project controls for large-scale capital projects.
• Proven track record in delivering complex infrastructure projects.

• Relevant (& hands on) technical experience and knowledge of: Project management platforms and systems (for managing document controls, contracts, change, cost, communication and milestones) e.g. PMWeb, Proliance, PCM, Skire or similar Project management tools including scheduling software e.g. Primavera P6, OPC, MS Project, etc

• Hands-on experience with project management platforms and scheduling tools (e.g., PMWeb, Primavera P6).
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence across diverse teams.
• Project management certification (APM PMQ, PMI PMP, or equivalent).
• Fluent in English; Bengali language skills are strong plus.
