Job Description

This is an exciting career opportunity to work in a multinational, Global 500 company that makes global trade happen. You will be interacting daily with colleagues internationally, giving you the opportunity to develop your professional skills in a global environment. We provide support for you to shape your own career by achieving expertise and learning on the job.

This is a Product Manager role with a strong operational twist. It sits at the intersection of product development, execution, and scale-up. The role is not only about shaping the product, but also about helping ensure it can be delivered in practice, embedded into the wider organization, and continuously improved in close partnership with operational teams.

In this role, you will support an important phase in the development of our delivery promise product and operating model. A key focus will be helping the team strengthen how we work today, while improving the processes, policies, governance, and cross-functional ways of working that allow execution to run more effectively across the business. This means working closely with day-to-day operations, understanding where the pain points are, and helping translate them into practical improvements.

At the same time, we are still in a phase where hands-on involvement matters. This role therefore requires someone with a roll-up-the-sleeves mindset who is comfortable staying close to execution, stepping in where needed, and helping the team maintain quality and momentum while improvements are being put in place.

The role also contributes to key parts of the delivery promise product, including how promises are generated, how performance is supported operationally, and how insights from execution can be turned into better ways of working. We are looking for someone who combines product thinking with operational understanding, and who enjoys solving real problems in collaboration with others.

The right candidate understands that product management in this space is not only about vision and roadmap. It is also about building solutions that work in the real world, aligning stakeholders across product, operations, regional teams, and technology, and helping turn frontline learnings into practical improvements. This person should be comfortable moving between structured problem-solving, stakeholder coordination, and operational detail.

A key part of the role will be to identify where work is too manual, fragmented, or dependent on individuals, and to help standardize, simplify, and improve where possible. The role will also support greater transparency around process performance and cost drivers, helping the team make better decisions on both product development and execution.

We are looking for someone with strong product management fundamentals, excellent communication skills, and a natural ability to work across functions. The ideal candidate brings structure to ambiguity, understands operational complexity, and is energized by helping bridge product development and execution across ocean and land. They should be comfortable contributing to both current operational needs and broader improvement efforts, while learning and growing in the role.

If you are motivated by solving real-world problems, working closely with cross-functional teams, and contributing to a product that sits at the heart of execution and customer experience, we would love to hear from you. Step in, contribute, and help us strengthen a product that makes a real difference in how we deliver at scale.
