Inland Customer Operations Coordinator

Join our Inland team and play a key role in delivering seamless end-to-end logistics solutions across landside transportation. We focus on truck, rail, and rail combined operations (RCO), connecting logistics hubs, container ports, and global supply chains.

As a leading provider of integrated logistics solutions, we enable our customers to rely on one trusted partner to move cargo safely, efficiently, and on time.

The Role

As Inland Customer Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing inland transportation operations for import, export, and empty container movements across customer locations, depots, and ports.

You will operate at the center of our inland delivery setup and collaborate closely with transport vendors, Customer Experience (CX), Finance Operations (FINOPS), Procurement, Product teams, and our back-office teams in India to ensure reliable and cost-efficient delivery.

You will also support our cross-country operating model, working closely with colleagues across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.

As part of our ongoing transformation journey, you will help improve execution through new platforms, automation initiatives, and simplified vendor communication processes.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Plan, optimize, allocate, and execute daily transport activities for import and export containers, including empty positioning
  • Coordinate end-to-end delivery execution and proactively manage operational constraints and service disruptions
  • Communicate execution status, risks, delays, and recovery actions with Customer Service, back-office teams, and vendors
  • Actively participate in and continue developing our dispatcher setup together with dedicated transport vendors
  • Balance cost efficiency, preferred routings, vendor performance, and service reliability
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery while maintaining a strong customer experience
  • Drive cost recovery, profitability, and support dispute resolution activities
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, execution quality, and customer outcomes
  • Provide cross-country operational support and collaborate across markets when required

You combine strong operational execution with a proactive and collaborative mindset. You are comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift quickly, and you stay focused on delivering reliable outcomes for customers and stakeholders.

  • Solve problems by identifying root causes and finding practical solutions
  • Take ownership and drive tasks through to completion
  • Build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Balance customer experience, operational performance, and cost efficiency
  • Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively across teams and countries
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working
  • Are comfortable using technology and adapting to new platforms
  • Are fluent in Danish & English, both written and spoken

Dispatcher experience is an advantage, but not a requirement. More important is your mindset, adaptability, and ability to collaborate effectively in a complex inland setup. You will combine operational discipline with strong stakeholder collaboration and continuous improvement.
