We – Maersk Project Logistics – have an opening as Project Manager within our Renewables Projects team. We handle all types of transportation for our clients, both over-dimensional and containerized, which means our workday is very diverse and not 2 days are alike. MPL Logistics Project Manager
The position offers a great opportunity to be part of a growing team and be a strong enabler in shaping the success of our increased focus on Project Logistics.
As a Logistics Project Manager, you will be a part of a larger team of 200 experienced colleagues in the Maersk Project Logistics Europe product, where we strive to deliver the best service for our customer,
and to deliver “Best in Class” project coordination, effective communication, cost awareness and continuous improvements which supports the Maersk growth aspirations and the success of our customers within Project Logistics and
Key responsibilities
Together with the Project team you will play a key role in designing tailor-made logistics solutions and coordinate projects for our customers, as well as being part of our accelerated growth within our segment.
You will be engaged in many aspects of the project forwarding industry including:
- Customer responsibility together with our sales organisation
- Solutions design with our solutions team
- Executing transport and project logistics solutions globally
- Procuring and evaluating offers from sub-contractors together with the procurement team
- Daily contact with customers and suppliers for execution of projects
- Operational Excellence and internal cooperation, including reporting and data discipline.

To be successful in this role we believe you bring the following:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project logistics, specifically experience working on oversized and heavy cargo including but not limited to:
- Designing, procuring, and operating end to end solutions for oversized and heavy cargo, covering ocean, land & rail transports as well as.
- Operational work includes but is not limited to heavy lift break bulk vessels, RoRo, coaster, inland water barging and out of gauge/break Bulk on container vessels. Oversized land and rail transportation.
- Experience in project management.
- Basic knowledge of vessel chartering and chartering operations.
- Procuring & Quoting end to end solutions to customers.
- Basic knowledge of the project industry.
- You can work in a structured and organized way, but also keep an innovative mindset.
- You are a team player but can also carry out assignments independently.
- You are responsible, hardworking, and energetic.
- Interested in working with different cultures around the world.
- Fluency in Danish and English.
- Great marked knowledge within European road transportation would be a benefit.
