What we offer

Being part of the Global Intermodal Products team, you will support our BPO – Pricing to drive changes to our end-to-end pricing on a global level. This means participating in structuring and modernizing our pricing mechanisms and processes to create and implement one accurate and fit-for-purpose pricing engine globally.

Key responsibilities

  • Review and streamline pricing rate structures to ensure they support the pricing vision and strategy of the Intermodal product globally
  • Evaluate area-level complexities and find creative solutions to ensure global standards have necessary flexibility to support local requirements
  • “Getting into the details” on a variety of data sets including rate repositories, historical spend, historical vendor utilization, booking data, and price calculation logics to ensure we build a high-quality, scalable, and accurate global pricing engine
  • Analyze trends across cost, volume, and commercial pricing to drive improvements to pricing practices, including structuring different approaches based on strategic goals such as volume growth and revenue optimization
  • Responsible for building excitement and working collaboratively across the product, customer experience, procurement, finance, platform, technology and frontline organizations in the development of our global pricing engine.
  • Manage the end-to-end tender process, ensuring compliant, timely, and competitive submissions while overseeing governance, tracking performance, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Support the global rollout of a modernized pricing engine, with a focus on driving understanding, engagement, and adoption in the frontline. This includes participation in onboarding and training sessions with frontline, as well as leading hyper care sessions on a regular basis
  • Throughout and beyond hyper care periods, receive, review, and prioritize feedback from frontline to support their needs while also driving global standards
  • Responsible for performance against key metrics to measure the success of the pricing engine rollout
  • Responsible for a continuous improvement mindset, always pushing for ways to optimize our pricing processes and tools to ensure we remain fair and relevant based on our customers’ needs in an evolving market

Required Skills and Experiences:

In this role, we are looking for someone that has:

  • A passion for pricing/revenue management
  • The ability to analyze complex business problems holistically using data in order to define structural and relevant solutions
  • 2-3 years of Analyst experience, preferably in pricing, working with large data sets
  • Ability to build rapport and excitement across multiple teams on a global scale to help support adoption of new tools/processes/standards
  • Strong communication skills to relay new improvement ideas across all levels
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Power BI
  • Independent, self-starter, and strong desire to learn and grow
  • Experience in Landside Transportation a plus
