About this role:
At Maersk, we are redefining logistics and supply chain solutions with a commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer success. As a 4PL Consultant, you’ll play a pivotal role in Logitech’s global inbound logistics strategy managing complex, multi-modal shipments and creating seamless solutions that keep products moving efficiently across the globe.

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate end-to-end inbound logistics across multiple shipping modes (ocean, rail, truck, air) from origin to distribution centers (DCs).

  • Manage in-transit shipment planning and ensure timely delivery from arrival terminals to DCs.

  • Serve as the primary link between control towers, forwarders, DC teams, and Logitech to ensure transparency and smooth operations.

  • Collaborate with regional logistics teams to prioritize containers when capacity is limited.

  • Monitor and validate shipment milestones with forwarders for accuracy and compliance.

  • Perform cost analysis (demurrage, detention, DC overtime, inventory holding) to optimize logistics decisions.

  • Lead investigations into claims, damages, or missing cargo incidents.

  • Oversee the onboarding of new service providers and ensure operational stability.

  • Drive performance reviews and contribute to forwarder scorecards.

  • Maintain and update Statements of Work (SOWs) for all stakeholders.

  • Analyze inbound flows to identify efficiency improvements and cost-saving opportunities.

  • Leverage expertise in USA import processes and FTZ handling (a plus).


What you bring:

We’re seeking a proactive, detail-oriented logistics professional who thrives in a dynamic, global environment.

  • 5+ years in supply chain management, freight forwarding, logistics, global trade & compliance (project management experience is a plus).

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills in complex logistics operations.

  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (written and verbal).

  • Customer-focused mindset: Professional, proactive, and agile in managing expectations.

  • Strong team player who is responsible, results-oriented, and self-motivated.

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced setting.

  • Skilled in Visio, Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI (a plus).
