Job Description

People Partner – Teplice Warehouse (On-site)

At Maersk, we have a vision larger than the ocean: to be a true integrator of container logistics, connecting and simplifying our customers’ supply chains through global end-to-end solutions. Our people make this possible.

We value diversity in all its forms and see it as a genuine source of strength in building high-performing and inclusive teams. Our People Function works across brands, geographies, and cultures to support one global Maersk.

We are looking for a People Partner to join our team in Teplice. This role is based on-site at our warehouse and plays a key role in driving cultural continuity, strengthening leadership capability, and ensuring people processes support operational excellence.

Your Role

As People Partner, you will act as the primary HR partner for the Teplice warehouse, working closely with site leadership to translate business priorities into people actions.

In this role, you will:

  • Partner with warehouse leadership to drive workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement.
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant resolution of workplace concerns and misconduct cases.
  • Strengthen cultural alignment by embedding company values, reinforcing respectful workplace behaviours, and sustaining a performance-driven environment.
  • Support and coach frontline leaders in people management topics including performance conversations, feedback, capability development, and team resilience.
  • Lead and coordinate end-to-end recruitment for blue-collar roles in close collaboration with Talent Acquisition, ensuring sustainable staffing for operational needs.
  • Oversee the full HR cycle (onboarding, performance management, mobility, exits) ensuring both strategic alignment and operational excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with Czech labour law and internal policies, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Drive data accuracy and leverage HR systems (Workday, ServiceNow) to support decision-making and reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with payroll and other People Function stakeholders to ensure seamless employee lifecycle management.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a resilient and credible HR professional who can operate confidently in a dynamic warehouse environment and build trust with operational leaders.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Solid mid-to-senior level HR experience within operational or industrial environments.
  • Proven experience in employee relations case management and disciplinary application.
  • In-depth knowledge of Czech labour law and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated capability in leadership coaching and supporting cultural development initiatives.
  • Strong resilience and the ability to navigate ambiguity and operational pressure with professionalism.
  • Fluency in written and spoken Czech is essential due to daily interaction with warehouse employees and local leadership. Strong English communication skills are also required.
  • Strong influencing, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with Workday or another HRIS is an advantage.

We Offer

We are committed to creating an environment built on fairness, respect, responsibility, and care — for our people and our customers.

We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including medical insurance, flexible working policy, and annual bonus.

If you are motivated to drive leadership effectiveness and build a resilient, high-performing warehouse culture, we look forward to hearing from you.
