About the Role

The Payroll Time and Attendance Specialist play a critical role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing for a large, diverse employee population. This position supports both monthly and bi‑weekly payroll cycles, manages complex timekeeping data, and partners closely with employees, managers, and cross‑functional teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a high‑volume environment, brings strong analytical skills, and is comfortable navigating union and global payroll requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process monthly and bi‑weekly payrolls with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.
  • Reconcile time and attendance data from eTime, ensuring completeness and compliance with company policies and labor agreements.
  • Manage wage garnishments, including setup, ongoing administration, and resolution of discrepancies.
  • Review and reconcile employee tax withholdings to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Serve as a point of contact for payroll‑related inquiries from employees, managers, and internal partners.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Operations teams to resolve payroll issues and support process improvements.
  • Support payroll processing for unionized employee groups, ensuring adherence to collective bargaining agreements.
  • Assist with global payroll activities as needed, including coordination with external partners.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive employee information at all times.
  • Utilize Workday, ADP Enterprise, eTime, and ADP SmartCompliance to execute daily payroll functions.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of payroll experience in a high‑volume environment (1,000+ employees).
  • Hands‑on experience processing payroll for unionized employee groups.
  • Working knowledge of payroll tax fundamentals and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency with ADP systems, preferably ADP Enterprise.
  • Experience with Workday, eTime, and ADP SmartCompliance strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Pay Range: $80,000- $100,000*

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
