Maersk is recruiting a Landside Pricing Analyst for strategic planning and managing of negotiations in the Area - Central America, Andina and Caribbean Area. The Pricing Analyst is an integral part of the 1st Mile Area Product team and it's responsible for establishing pricing and service guidelines that meet Customer’s needs with solutions, also supporting Sales, Network and Self Pricing Channels thru strategic proposals and digital innovation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Makes independent analysis and pricing suggestions and adjust as quickly as needed.

  • Create and manage pricing guidelines, tiers, and processes. Model quantitative pricing scenarios and options, identifying recommendations for Sales teams to improve conversion.

  • Build rate proposals/solutions on a timely and accurate manner.

  • Use insights and recommendations based on market analysis to support pricing initiatives.

  • Communicate efficiently and effectively concerning the Pricing strategy, changes and updates with internal and external customers, regional and global stakeholders, vendors and as required.

  • Provide customer’s satisfaction by providing the right landside solutions consistent with the customer’s needs.

  • Strategic analytical & modelling capability, ability to translate complex requirements into tangible solutions.

  • Ensure business growth by measuring Win Ratio %, Market benchmark, Imbalance conditions and Conversion %.

  • Identify structural roadblocks to win business and follow up on action plans.

  • Collaboration with sales offering support and guidance for bids, proposals, and contract negotiations. Collaborate with local Product (Product Managers and Growth) team to measure success and drive informed decision making.

  • Helps automate and bring in efficiencies.

We are looking for:

  • University Degree in Commerce, Logistics or related filed.

  • 2-3 years’ minimum experience in pricing and/or product is required.

  • Intermediate Advance English level is a MUST.

  • Local market & culture understanding / openness

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills.

  • Good project management and time management skills.

  • Consistent ability to meet and adhere to deadlines.

  • Passion, initiative, and drive to continuously develop and work with creativity and innovation.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and customer service skills.

  • Ambitious and result oriented self-starter with initiative and strong drive.

  • Proficient in MS Excel
