
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Finance Project Manager to lead and manage strategic finance transformation initiatives across Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) functions. This is a people leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, strengthening governance, and ensuring successful execution of finance projects and process improvement initiatives.
The role requires strong expertise in finance operations, stakeholder management, SAP-based processes, and team leadership within a dynamic global environment. The candidate will also play a key role in managing cross-functional finance programs, process standardization, reporting governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This position requires willingness to work in North America (NAM) shift / night shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end finance projects and transformation initiatives across P2P and O2C processes.
- Manage and drive process governance, project execution, and operational improvements within finance operations.
- Oversee key finance processes including Accounts Payable, Invoice Processing, Vendor Management, Cash Application, Billing, Collections, GRIR management, and Accruals.
- Ensure effective tracking and resolution of GRIR aging, accrual management, and process reconciliation issues.
- Drive standardization of finance processes, reporting structures, controls, templates, and governance frameworks.
- Monitor project timelines, risks, dependencies, financial impact, and overall delivery milestones.
- Prepare and present project status updates, operational metrics, risks, and financial reports to leadership stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business, operations, finance, and technology teams to deliver strategic initiatives and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOPs, audit requirements, and organizational policies.
- Support resource planning, workload management, and execution of high-priority finance initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement, automation opportunities, and operational efficiency within finance processes.
- Work extensively on SAP platforms for finance operations, reporting, reconciliations, and project tracking activities.
People Management Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team supporting finance operations and project initiatives.
- Handle end-to-end people management activities including hiring, onboarding, performance management, coaching, mentoring, and succession planning.
- Drive employee engagement, capability development, and team productivity initiatives.
- Provide guidance and direction to the team to ensure achievement of operational KPIs and business objectives.
- Build a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in Finance Project Management, Program Management, or Operations Management roles.
- Proven expertise in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
- Strong understanding of GRIR management, accruals, reconciliations, and finance operations governance.
- Hands-on experience working on SAP finance modules and finance reporting environments.
- Experience in managing finance transformation, process improvement, or transition projects.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced global environment.
- Excellent analytical, reporting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven people leadership and team management capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in shared services, global business services (GBS), or finance operations environments.
- Exposure to process improvement methodologies and finance governance practices.
- Experience working with global stakeholders and managing teams in a matrix organization.
