Join us as we harness cutting-edge technologies and unlock opportunities on a global scale. Together, let's sail towards a brighter, more sustainable future with Maersk.

What We Offer

This is an exciting career opportunity to work in a multinational, Global 500 company that makes global trade happen. You will be interacting daily with colleagues internationally, giving you the opportunity to develop your professional skills in a global environment. We provide support for you to shape your own career by achieving expertise and learning on the job.

  • Lead and influence the evolution of enterprise network services supporting a complex global logistics organisation.

  • Collaborate with regional and global teams across Product, Architecture, Cyber Security, Service Management, and Operations.

  • Develop your leadership capabilities while coaching and growing a team of network engineering professionals.

  • Contribute to standardisation, automation, service reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives across the network estate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of Network Engineers and Senior Network Engineers, setting priorities, objectives, and performance expectations.

  • Manage operational demand across incidents, service requests, problem investigations, and planned changes while balancing engineering delivery commitments.

  • Oversee the delivery, operation, and continuous improvement of LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and NFV services across regional sites.

  • Coordinate technical escalations and major incident responses, ensuring effective collaboration with internal stakeholders, vendors, and delivery partners.

  • Drive lifecycle management, technical debt reduction, automation initiatives, service standardisation, and reliability improvements.

  • Partner with Product, Architecture, and Cyber Security teams to ensure alignment with global standards, reference architectures, and security controls.

  • Manage regional network risks, capacity, resilience, performance, and supplier relationships while providing visibility of delivery progress and operational outcomes.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Continuous improvement mindset: we are looking for someone who brings a thoughtful improvement mindset, curious about how work gets done and motivated to make meaningful, sustainable improvements over time.

  • Demonstrated experience leading network engineering teams within a large enterprise, service provider, systems integrator, or managed services environment.

  • Strong technical understanding of enterprise LAN, WLAN, WAN, and SD-WAN technologies, including routing, switching, segmentation, resilience, security, and high availability.

  • Experience delivering and operating network services across geographically distributed sites such as offices, warehouses, terminals, manufacturing facilities, or other operational environments.

  • Knowledge of SD-WAN platforms such as Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN, Cisco Meraki, or Fortinet Secure SD-WAN, alongside practical understanding of network security principles and segmentation.

  • Experience managing major incidents, technical escalations, root cause investigations, corrective action plans, and service improvement programmes.

  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, people leadership, coaching, workforce planning, and vendor management capabilities.

  • Familiarity with network automation, APIs, Python, Ansible, Infrastructure as Code, observability, SASE/SSE, cloud networking, Agile delivery, and ITIL practices is advantageous.

  • Relevant professional certifications such as Cisco CCNP Enterprise, Cisco or Fortinet SD-WAN certifications, HPE Aruba, Juniper, or equivalent are desirable.
