Associate Finance Controller with Dutch Language Skills

Experience required –

• 1+ years of experience in Accounting to Reporting (ATR or R2R) function
• Experience in local GAAP, IFRS. Preferred knowledge on Dutch GAAP

Education –

• A bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in finance with equivalent experience is preferred

Skills required –

• Language and communication skills – Proficient verbal and written communication in Dutch and English are required for interacting with stakeholders
• ERP systems - SAP/S4HANA experience would be added advantage
• Domain knowledge – End to end understanding of Accounting to Reporting activities that include periodic book close, audit support and meeting compliance requirements

Key responsibilities -

• Perform month end accounting and reporting activities complying with IFRS and local GAAP
• Perform Balance Sheet reconciliation and ensure that liabilities are cleared on time & no aged open items beyond SLA.
• Provide the stakeholders with clear visibility into every item of the Profit & Loss statement and Balance Sheet
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual statistical reports
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial reporting and adherence to accounting policies
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to financial transactions
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial accounting
• Ensure tax compliance and transfer pricing, wherever applicable
