Job Description
The Accounts Payable Manager plays a critical role in leading the Accounts Payable Operations team to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant P2P execution. This role focuses on process excellence, stakeholder management, coaching specialists, and driving automation and efficiency/productivity agenda across the end-to-end AP lifecycle. The position supports organizational goals by enhancing working capital, ensuring audit readiness, and enabling strong operational performance across regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic finance partner in the NAM Area FLT
  • Present a clear vision for PTP transformation and working capital improvement
  • Influence business decisions through structured thinking and analytical insights
  • Challenge constructively and demonstrate assertive, confident leadership
  • Own regional PTP KPIs: Invoice SLA, Aged items, SOA/GRC, Automation %, DPO
  • Ensure robust RCA and preventive actions for recurring issues
  • Strengthen governance routines with OPS, FinOps, Procurement, and vendors
  • Drive stabilization and improvements post‑NFTP
  • Lead digital initiatives: IHAR(Invoice handling automation), workflow enhancements
  • Build yearly efficiency & FTE release plans with measurable outcomes
  • Identify waste and drive process simplification
  • Promote adoption of new tools and global standards
  • Engage effectively with Area Finance, OPS, Procurement, and global PTP
  • Demonstrate strong executive communication and concise storytelling
  • Manage escalations proactively with clarity on action owners and timelines
  • Provide transparent, data‑driven updates to senior leadership
  • Coach and mentor teams; build a strong succession pipeline
  • Strengthen team capability in communication, analysis, and ownership

Teams’ Objectives

  • Deliver a standardized, efficient, and accurate AP process.
  • Ensure vendor satisfaction through timely and correct payments.
  • Achieve zero major audit observations.
  • Support regional and global finance transformation initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvements and automation within P2P processes.
