Job Description
Initiate, coordinate and lead the Finance Transformation agenda across the Area. This role will act as the guardian of financial systems enhancement, financial processes improvement and standardization, ensuring compliance with local requirements and alignment with organizational standards and processes.

Our opportunity:
We are looking for our new Area Finance Transformation Lead (ESA) to be part of a team that drives financial excellence and supports Maersk’s strategic growth in East Coast South America.
Main Responsibilities:
Support new Business Implementation, e.g. setting up of new entities in line with local compliance;
Support Legal entity rationalization projects (Gollum);
Support Merger & Acquisitions (M&A) Integration projects in line with Maersk standard processes and organizational setup;
Act as anchor point in the Area for new Finance & Tax platform (NFTP) implementations;
Support Business platform implementation by ensuring all financial aspects are completed and rolled-out in local finance org for every system implementation as per project plans (in collaboration with BCO);
Investigate training / testing needs and arrange training & testing schedule as part of the go live preparations;
Drive, support and coordinate FFF activities end to end, including stakeholder management and deliver successful outcomes within the agreed project timelines;
Provide Area Leadership Team with timely and relevant information about the progress of the transformation projects, including escalation when the project delivery falls behind plan.

Education: Degree in Finance, Business Administration or Engineering. Masters degree in Finance or similar will be a plus.
Experience:
Solid financial background;
Proven ability to lead business improvement and transformation initiatives, with strong experience in implementation, project management, and influencing strategic decision-making;
Experience leading investment analysis;
Experience with ERP systems (SAP);
Knowledge of project management tools and AI is considered a plus.
Languages: Fluent English and Portuguese are mandatory. Spanish is a plus.

Results-driven professional with strong logical reasoning and analytical capabilities;
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail;
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively;
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills;
Demonstrates high integrity.
