Are you proactive of nature, with knowledge of the Maritime sector and strong in building new relations and sales pipeline? Are you a fast learner and based in Denmark?
Your week will look like this: 2-4 days in Svendborg, where you’ll be surrounded by subject matter experts. Your client portfolio is based worldwide, but the majority are based in Denmark and Europe. You can expect online client meetings as well as travel-days in Denmark and Europe (Europe < 10/year).
The Account Manager will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and maintaining strong client relationships. This position is responsible for managing accounts in our Strategic & Direct Channel, developing partnerships, and ensuring client satisfaction to achieve long-term business success & growth. The role involves new sales opportunities, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
This temporary position is a maternity cover for the period of about 1 year, with the possibility of permanent position thereafter.
Key Responsibilities
Build and Maintain Strong Client Relationships - Establish trust and long-term partnerships with strategic accounts to ensure satisfaction, retention, and business continuity.
Achieve Sales Targets and Drive Revenue Growth - Consistently meet or exceed individual and team sales goals, you will be measured on opportunities created, proposals sent, opportunities won, % of growth on client portfolio.
Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities - Proactively target potential high-value clients to expand the customer base and strengthen market presence.
Upsell and Cross-Sell MT Solutions - Offer additional products and services that address specific client needs and add value to existing accounts.
Prepare and Present Proposals for Large Accounts - Develop customized bids, tenders, and presentations for high-impact clients, aligning with organizational offerings.
Maintain Accurate CRM Records - Document all client interactions, proposals, and progress to ensure seamless communication and effective account management.
Provide Exceptional Client Service - Address client inquiries and challenges promptly to ensure satisfaction and a seamless customer experience.
Oversee Account Deliverables - Monitor and ensure timely delivery of services or products, meeting client expectations and contractual commitments.
Participate in Professional Development Activities - Stay informed about industry trends, company strategies, and client needs by attending training and planning sessions.
Contribute to Strategic Sales Planning - Provide insights from client interactions and market knowledge to shape sales strategies and support business growth
We are looking for
Deep understanding of the Maritime industry and their training requirements - Insight into the Danish, EU or Global market dynamics and client needs, enabling the identification of new business opportunities, with a focus on simulator trainings.
Strong Sales Acumen and Target Achievement- Consistent ability to meet or exceed sales targets, with a focus on driving revenue growth through strategic account development.
Exceptional Negotiation and Proposal Skills- Expertise in preparing and presenting compelling proposals for large accounts, with a proven ability to close complex deals.
Excellent Relationship Building and Communication Skills- Ability to establish trust and rapport with key stakeholders, fostering long-term partnerships and ensuring client satisfaction.
Strategic Thinking and Problem-Solving Abilities- Capacity to analyze client needs, develop tailored solutions, and contribute to strategic sales planning.
Proficiency in CRM Systems and Sales Reporting- Experience in maintaining accurate records and utilizing data to track progress and inform decision-making.
Ability to Upsell and Cross-Sell Solutions- Skill in identifying opportunities to expand existing client relationships by offering additional products and services.
Proactive and Results-Oriented Approach- Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional client service.
