The Role

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst (TBA) who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. You will work across multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating with Front-End Engineers, AWS Architects and Engineers, UX Designers, Automation QAs and a Delivery Lead. Your role will be pivotal in bridging the gap between client needs and technical delivery, ensuring clarity, alignment, and successful outcomes.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

Requirements Gathering & Analysis

  • Engage with clients/stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business and technical requirements.
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, acting as proxy Product Owner when required by articulating business requirements, ensuring the rationale and functionality of features are accurately represented throughout the lifecycle of the project

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work seamlessly across Frontend, AWS, UX and QA teams to ensure alignment and shared understanding of project goals.
  • Facilitate and participate in workshops and Agile ceremonies to drive collaboration and continuous improvement.

Project Delivery Support

  • Support the Product and Delivery Lead in tracking progress, identifying risks, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Act as a point of contact for clarifying requirements and resolving blockers during development.

Process & Quality Assurance

  • Contribute to the refinement of delivery processes and best practices.
  • Support QA efforts by validating requirements and participating in UAT.

Multi-Project Management

  • Manage priorities and context-switch effectively across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Maintain visibility and communication across all assigned initiatives.

Key Skills & Abilities

  • Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role in a software delivery environment.
  • Demonstrable exposure to cloud native development and deployment environments (AWS preferrable), modern frontendframeworks and test automation tools (playwright preferrable).
  • Exposure to complex customer environments with multiple stakeholder groups and evolving, often challenging business and technical requirements
  • Experience with data-modelling, system integration patterns, and interpreting technical architecture diagrams is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (Agile/Scrum).
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, UX, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to write clear, concise documentation including user stories, process flows, and technical specs.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, and cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
  • Ideally agile certified with proven experience as operating as a Proxy Product Owner within a fast-paced agency or consultancy environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
