Where you come in?

You'll work alongside the Portfolio Management team, acting as part of the decision-making process and help define, develop and deliver the underwriting strategy to ensure that profitable business is written. You will bring an understanding of the market and identify new opportunity areas, wordings and legal considerations of a class as well as leveraging existing relationships for Ki. You'll be required to capitalise on existing market relationship to ensure visibility in the London Market, working alongside Account Manager to define, develop and deliver the KiDS underwriting strategy and its translation amongst our brokers.

What you will be doing: 🖋️

Based on existing class knowledge, you will work with the Underwriting Directors, Portfolio Underwriters and Portfolio Management Team to constantly update underwriting strategies by class. Collaborate with Portfolio Management to focus on areas of the portfolio and review based on distribution partner and market feedback, optimise the commercial lens of the algorithm by giving updates from the market, distribution partners and competitors, develop the revenue strategy with input from the algorithms appetite to optimise revenue generation and business mix.

What you will bring to the role:

If you have a track record of success in building and executing commercially viable strategies, are an excellent negotiator, communicator and relationship builder and have an in-depth knowledge of Specialty insurance lines within the Lloyds market, we'd love to hear from you. If you are interested in working alongside underwriters, portfolio management and account management to drive underwriting performance this could be the role for you.
