How insurance is underwritten here hasn't changed in 300 years – until now. At Ki, we are genuinely solving problems that haven’t been solved with technology in the insurance space. We are building the first fully digital and data-led insurance platform in the London Market. Ki is used by the world’s leading insurance brokers to provide cover for their clients against some of the planet’s biggest risks. We are the first movers in this space. Think challenger bank, but for complex risks like hurricanes and natural disasters.
Having reached c.$1bn of Gross Written Premium in the first three years of trading, and becoming a Top 20 Lloyd’s of London syndicate, Ki is launching a Technology Services function and Transformation Programme to enhance our technological capabilities and streamline processes. The programme will transform Ki’s internal-facing technology services across all business functions, including Actuarial & Risk, Underwriting & Distribution, Finance, HR, Legal, Operations, Claims and IT.

Are you passionate about leveraging cutting-edge technology to drive business transformation? As a Microsoft 365 Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our dynamic and rapidly expanding team. You will architect, manage, and optimize our Microsoft 365 environment, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across the organization. This role is crucial in supporting our ambitious transformation to a hybrid cloud estate, enhancing our communication and collaboration tools, and ensuring the security and efficiency of our Microsoft 365 suite. Join us to make a significant impact, drive innovation, and help shape the future of our digital workplace. You’ll be working alongside a Google Specialist and over time we hope you will support each other to ensure the stability and scalability of our estate.
Your focus will be on:
• Architect and Approve Designs: Develop and approve architectural designs within the Microsoft 365 suite to meet diverse business needs.
• Messaging Environment: Ensure the messaging environment (e.g., Exchange Online) is fit for purpose and meets organizational requirements.
• Manage 365 Environment: Oversee the Microsoft 365 environment, including permission assignments, user management, and system configurations.
• OneDrive and SharePoint Management: Maintain and optimize the OneDrive and SharePoint estates, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
• Training and Development: Mentor and train team members on Microsoft 365 tools and best practices, fostering an inclusive learning environment.
• Automation: Automate routine tasks using tools like PowerShell and Terraform to improve efficiency and reduce manual workload.
• Project Management: Lead small projects to improve the Microsoft 365 estate or create environments for mid/back-office systems.
• Collaboration with Project Teams: Work closely with project teams to support the deployment and integration of SaaS solutions hosted on GCP or Azure.
• Security and Compliance: Implement and manage security policies and compliance measures within the Microsoft 365 environment.
• Support and Troubleshooting: Provide 3rd line support for Microsoft 365 issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Vendor Management: Liaise with external vendors and service providers to ensure optimal performance and support for Microsoft 365 services.
• User Adoption: Drive user adoption of Microsoft 365 tools through training sessions, workshops, and user guides
