Job Description

We are currently representing a leading global Financial Services firm in the appointment of high-calibre professionals as part of a period of strategic growth and investment.

Working as part of a collaborative global finance team, you’ll report directly to the Billing Manager and receive comprehensive training on Oracle, one of the world’s leading enterprise finance systems.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with administrative experience in a financial services environment who looking to build strong foundations in finance operations within a global organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing invoices for a designated portfolio of clients and ensuring they are issued accurately and on time
  • Maintaining correct and up‑to‑date billing information
  • Assisting with annual and bi‑annual billing cycles
  • Preparing consolidated statements for larger clients
  • Liaising internally to resolve billing-related queries
  • Managing the finance mailbox to ensure requests are actioned promptly
  • Running exception reports to ensure accuracy of billing data
  • Supporting and helping train assistants and interns
  • Investigating unreconciled items and escalating issues when needed
  • Assisting with ad hoc financial tasks as required
  • Helping to chase outstanding receivables

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Recent administrative and/or accounting experience within financial services or a corporate services environment
  • Experience with Oracle, Viewpoint, SSRS or e‑billing portals is beneficial, but not essential
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills at a business‑proficient level
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good analytical and problem‑solving ability
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively, especially when working to deadlines
