The Role
We’re looking to hire a talented Senior Product Engineer with demonstrated expertise building web apps using modern web technologies from scratch. Our hire should also have a passion for virtual worlds and the interoperable open metaverse, be a pragmatic decision-making, and have experience building for with customers. You’ll be an integral part of shaping the evolution of our Morpheus Platform product, serving as the bridge between our core platform capabilities and the project goals of our customers. You’ll be both responsible for building out demonstratively capable solutions of what’s possible with the platform, while also being technically accountable for the success of customer projects at a high level.

Why You’re Made For This

• Web Technology Proficiency: You’re fast and experienced developing with modern web technologies such as creating Next.js apps, developing in Typescript, deploying to Vercel-type infrastructure. You have spun up multiple web apps from scratch either as part of work or shipped side projects and you’re comfortable with rapid prototyping.

• Collaborative: You have strong communication skills with technical and non-technical collaborators with an ability to communicate complex ideas effectively. You’re experienced in gathering feedback, and evolving solutions in response to changing goalposts.

• Customer Success Oriented: You have proven experience in helping customers build or integrate successfully with a platform product. You have been responsible for projects where you’ve had to react, fix things or otherwise go above and beyond to ensure project success.

• Passionate for our space: Enthusiastic about virtual worlds technology and ideas of the future of the open metaverse. You’re open to and interested in building with foundational tech behind of blockchains and Web3.

What the role involves

• Developing solutions: Build tech solutions that bridge the gap between customer creative ambitions and our Morpheus Platform for developing virtual worlds. Quickly incorporate feedback to ensure solutions align with real customer needs and deliver impactful and repeatable value.

• Driving product: Collaborate and develop ideas with product leadership that improve the Morpheus Platform product - trade-offs across business priorities, customer experience, and technical sustainability.

• Enabling customers: Work directly with customer teams attempting to build experiences using Morpheus Platform and ensure what we build in the solutions space serves actual creators and developers. Be responsible for the technical success of partnered customer events and projects.
