Job Description

Our metaverse group helps our partners realise their metaverse ambitions. The team’s expertise encompasses creative (concept and design), production (art and content), engineering (game development and Web3) and operations (dev and live).
At Improbable, you’ll collaborate with some of the best in the industry. Together, you’ll create unique, tailored experiences that stretch the boundaries of what’s possible in digital spaces and virtual worlds – and help define what the metaverse can be.
Improbable is creating innovative online events and experiences that support 1000s of simultaneous players. Check out some examples here! We want to further explore the possibilities of massive live events across a wide variety of fields including sports, education, music and art - all supported on any device.
Consider global sports fans gathering in virtual arenas, interactive live concerts, mass-participation games - bridging geographical gaps, creating new jobs for hosts and content creators and bringing people together.
We want you to help us build the next generation of massively multiplayer live experiences!.

Your Opportunity:

  • Have heavy involvement in the creation of animator processes, pipelines, and discipline.
  • Give constructive critique on the quality of the animations within our projects.
  • Display a high degree of discipline in following the animation processes.
  • Create high quality animation content within industry standard timelines.
  • Own a discrete area of the project and execute on it with a high degree of quality, e.g.: third person movement suite.
  • Generate high quality content for user acquisition and engagement, e.g.: marketing assets.
  • Actively participate in the constant improvement of work methods and pipelines.

Why You’re Made for This:

  • Expert in an animation skill-set (e.g.: keyframing, motion capture, cinematics, etc…) with shipped products that show an end-to-end understanding of the process.
  • Strong understanding of character movement, weight, and characteristics.
  • Proven experience in self-managing workloads through Jira or another tracking methodology.
  • Excellent in identifying issues and proposing solutions that improve animation process or discipline.
  • In-depth understanding of one or more common animation packages, e.g.: Maya, Motionbuilder, Blender, etc...
  • Able to create tutorials, guides, or other important documentation for more junior staff members.
  • Comfortable in setting up animation Blueprints.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine Control Rig is a plus.
