The role

As People Team Administrator, you will play a vital role in keeping our People Team running smoothly. From handling day-to-day HR administration to learning & development, and assisting the Chief People Officer, you’ll be a key part of ensuring we deliver exceptional support to our growing team. Here is an insight into your day-to-day:

HR Administration:

  • Maintain and update HR systems, ensuring all employee records are accurate and up to date.
  • Support employee lifecycle processes such as contracts, onboarding, and offboarding.
  • Respond to routine HR queries, providing first-line support to employees.

Onboarding Administration:

  • Provide the People Team with reports on onboarding surveys, recruitment surveys and exit interviews to help us continue to learn and grow
  • Supporting our Talent Acquisition team in the curating of offer letters, contracts, and right-to-work checks.

Learning & Development Administration:

  • Provide administrative support for Huel Academy and Huel Learn. Our internal live workshops and training platforms.
  • Assist in coordinating learning programs and development initiatives, including updating learning materials, ensuring they are accessible and up to date.

CPO Support:

  • Provide ad hoc administrative support to the Chief People Officer, including diary management, meeting coordination, and preparing documents or presentations.

General Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth coordination and delivery of People team projects and events.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and suggest practical solutions.
  • Assist with other ad hoc admin tasks and projects as directed by the CPO and wider People Leadership Team.

What we're looking for in you

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within HR or a similar function.
  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Google Drive & Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and confidence in learning new systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, manage deadlines, and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • A passion for people, learning, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with HRIS or ATS systems is a plus but not essential.
