Job Description

In Short:

Hofy is redefining the way organisations oversee their remote and hybrid workplaces!

The Buyer will co-ordinate the purchasing of goods and services from our third-party supply chain, ensuring that each transaction provides best value, compliance, and on-time delivery.

The Role:

  • Inventory management, ensuring appropriate levels of stock are available to support the delivery of objectives & key results, utilising demand planning tools and purchase order system where appropriate.
  • Support bespoke product sourcing, ensuring requests and drop-ships purchase orders are managed in an efficient manner, utilising the product ranges available from our third-party supply chain
  • Support the Procurement Team with transformational projects and/or deputise for other Team Members during times of absence/as required by the business.
  • Opportunity to work with global suppliers and a global purchasing plan.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience in a procurement function managing purchase-to-pay processes, 1+ years in an IT environment is desirable.
  • Knowledge and experience of third-party item sourcing inclusive of supplier negotiation, quotation provision and special bid process management.
  • Proven experience of the purchase-to-pay order-processing lifecycle inclusive of clean order management and item creation processes.
  • Understanding of risk and compliance within a third-party supply chain with recognised processes utilised to enable effective management.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal/external stakeholders, suppliers, customers, peers, senior management, and the wider business at all levels of seniority.
  • Experience of managing multiple project strands simultaneously and working at pace to challenging deadlines.
