Function: Supply Chain

Location: Hereford Ciderie

Salary: Circa £50,000 depending on experience, plus full benefits listed below.

Contract: 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Closing Date: 16th March 2026. Please note, we may close vacancies early where we receive significant numbers of applications, so don’t delay!

About the Role
We’re looking for a Digital Brewery Specialist to drive key digital initiatives across our UK production sites as part of our Connected Brewery Programme. This role will play a crucial part in increasing digital maturity, bridging the gap between D&T and operational technology (OT), and reducing existing tech debt by deploying global D&T products.

This is a dual-reporting position, working closely with both the local Engineering Manager and the D&T Technology Team to ensure efficient and consistent delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll lead and support a range of initiatives that bring standardisation and digital capability to our brewery operations, including:

  • Deploying the Global Heineken Data Capture (Event Manager) solution across at least two sites by June 2026, with plans for a third.
  • Acting as the UK lead for the MS Access retirement programme, working closely with the Hyperautomation team.
  • Contributing to PCD security by coordinating technical initiatives linked to the Global PCD Security and PCD 2026 programmes.
  • Supporting local digital initiatives such as condition-based monitoring and dashboard development to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Providing regular updates to management and participating in the Digital Steering Committee where needed.
  • Leading change management activities to support the adoption of new technology, including proposing appropriate training.
  • Driving consistent ways of working, processes and standards across all production sites.
  • Identifying skill and organisational gaps that may impact the rollout of global technology programmes.

About You
You’ll bring a blend of technical know-how, project delivery experience, and strong stakeholder engagement skills. We’re looking for someone who can work collaboratively across multiple sites, influence without authority, and translate complex digital solutions into practical operational improvements.

Ideally, you’ll have:

  • Experience working within manufacturing, supply chain or a similar operational environment.
  • Knowledge and/ or experience of Grafana, Power Bi, Parsable, SharePoint, and SQL
  • Knowledge of automation systems, D&T / OT environments, or digital transformation programmes.
  • Strong project management and coordination skills.
  • Confidence engaging with cross-functional teams, from engineering to technology.
  • A proactive mindset and the ability to drive change through others.

If you’re passionate about digital transformation and want to help shape the breweries of the future, we’d love to hear from you.

Our Benefits:

As part of the team, along with your salary you’ll also receive;

  • An annual bonus,
  • Company funded Private Medical Healthcare,
  • double matched pension (up to 10%),
  • 35 days holiday
  • On-site Gym
  • A monthly case of our delicious ciders and beers!
  • Comprehensive Opportunities to develop.

You’ll also get the opportunity to get involved with one of our colleague networks where groups of colleagues from all over the business work together to ensure we’re always working towards being a diverse and inclusive company.
