As the nation’s leading pub, cider and beer company and the name behind a host of brilliant brands, we’re looking for equally brilliant people to help us on our journey to building a better future.

About the role
We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager with strong Test Management expertise to lead the delivery of some of HEINEKEN UK's most strategically important Digital & Technology programmes.

If you enjoy delivering complex business change, influencing senior stakeholders and improving how projects are delivered across an organisation, we'd love to hear from you.

This role offers the opportunity to combine programme delivery leadership with shaping our testing capability. You'll work closely with project teams, third-party partners and our Global Test Practice team to define testing strategies, establish governance and ensure the right testing capability is in place from project initiation through to successful delivery.

You'll also help improve our testing maturity, quality standards and delivery outcomes across our wider Digital & Technology portfolio.

As a Senior Project Manager, you'll lead complex, high-impact programmes and projects that support HEINEKEN UK's strategic priorities. These initiatives typically range from £0.5m to £2m+, span multiple business functions and require close collaboration with our Global teams.

You'll be accountable for delivering successful business outcomes, balancing scope, budget, timelines, quality and business benefits while adapting your approach to suit each programme. Working with significant autonomy, you'll bring structure to complex environments, make informed decisions and help teams stay focused on delivering value.

This is a highly visible role where you'll build trusted relationships across Digital & Technology, Commercial, Supply Chain and the wider business. You'll engage, influence and constructively challenge senior leaders, helping create alignment across local and Global teams to keep important programmes moving forward.

Alongside programme delivery, you'll play an important role in developing project management capability across the function. You'll coach Project Managers, champion HEINEKEN's delivery frameworks and continuously improve how we deliver change.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading the delivery of multiple complex Digital & Technology programmes and projects, ensuring they're delivered on time, within budget and aligned to strategic business objectives.
  • Defining delivery approaches across complex environments, proactively managing programme performance, governance, risks and dependencies.
  • Building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, Global teams and strategic suppliers, providing commercial oversight and driving delivery of business benefits.
  • Coaching and supporting Project Managers and delivery teams, while championing effective project management frameworks and ways of working.
  • Leading testing capability across your portfolio, shaping test strategy, demand, governance and quality standards to support successful delivery.
  • Working with project teams, third-party partners and the Global Test Practice team to establish consistent testing frameworks, standards and approaches.
  • Providing oversight of testing activity throughout delivery, ensuring risks, defects, readiness and quality metrics are actively managed.
  • Taking hands-on Test Management responsibility where required, including defining test strategy, planning activity and coordinating delivery.
  • Supporting continuous improvement in testing maturity and quality outcomes across Digital & Technology.

What you'll bring

You'll be an experienced Senior Project Manager with strong Test Management experience, who enjoys solving complex problems, building relationships and delivering meaningful business change.

You'll be a confident communicator who can influence at all levels, challenge constructively and bring people together around shared goals. You'll be comfortable working in fast-moving environments, managing competing priorities and leading through ambiguity.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • Proven experience delivering complex, strategically important Digital & Technology programmes or projects within a large, matrix organisation.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and building strong relationships with senior stakeholders, Global colleagues and third-party partners.
  • Strong commercial and financial management skills, including experience managing budgets, suppliers and business benefits.
  • A solid understanding of project governance and recognised delivery methodologies, with experience across Agile and Waterfall environments.
  • Experience shaping testing strategies, governance and quality assurance approaches across complex change programmes.
  • Strong Test Management expertise, with the ability to assess testing demand, mobilise capability and embed consistent testing standards across multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to make decisions and lead through complexity.
  • Prince2 Practitioner (or equivalent) is desirable. MSP certification would be an advantage.

If this sounds like the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you.
