Customer Service, Logistics and Planning – 12 Month Project Analyst Industry Placement

Location: Edinburgh City Centre – 6 St. Andrew Square

Salary: £27,500 per annum (pro rata)

Duration: Until 31st August 2027

Last date for applications: Monday 10th August. Please note we may close the application window early if we receive high volumes, so don't delay applying!

Ready to pour your energy into something great? We’re looking for a Project Analyst to join us on an industry placement in our Customer Service, Logistics and Planning (CSL&P) team!

What you’ll do as an Industry Placement student with us:

Taking part in this Industry Placement programme, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we plan and schedule production at HEINEKEN. This isn’t just about shadowing—you’ll dive right in, using your curiosity and fresh perspective to explore how our breweries operate, spot opportunities for improvement, and help us set global standards.

You’ll be out in the field visiting breweries, connecting with teams across different countries, and gathering best practices to bring back to the table.

Your mission? To create a go-to library of Standard Operating Procedures and training materials that will support our teams worldwide, powered by the latest technology and integrates with our existing digital platforms.

This is an opportunity to gain insight into the inner workings of one of the world’s most iconic brewers, make a tangible impact, and leave a lasting mark on how we operate.

Who we’re looking for:

We’re looking for somebody who shows enthusiasm and is willing and ready to learn. On top of that, you may have the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Logistics, STEM, or Computing with an integrated placement year, or recently graduated (Class of 2024 or 2025).
  • Comfortable using digital tools and systems (Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Able to show examples of teamwork, initiative, and a desire to make things better – whether through work experience, personal projects or society involvement
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently, with a good degree of self-motivation.
  • Valid Right to Work in the UK - Sponsorship is not offered for this role.

You’ll Stand Out If You:

  • Are curious about TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) methodology and eager to explore it further
  • Love solving problems and using data to guide smart decisions
  • Can communicate with clarity and confidence, both in writing and in conversation (English B2 or above)
  • Bring an open mind, empathy, and the ability to build strong relationships
  • Have a genuine drive to learn, grow, and make an impact

The application:

If you like what you’ve read and want to explore this opportunity further, please apply as soon as possible. The closing date is listed above. Please note that applications without Cover Letters answering the question below will be automatically rejected.

As part of your application, please tell us why you'd love to be our CSL&P Project Analyst in no more than 250 words.

Please note, we may close vacancies early where we receive significant numbers of applications, so don’t delay!

If you’re interested in this opportunity, please apply before the closing date listed above.

You might not meet every single requirement for the roles listed above, and that’s okay – we all need the opportunity to develop and untap our full potential. If this advert’s piqued your interest, we’d encourage you to apply rather than ruling yourself out. You never know – you may be exactly what we’re looking for!

If you need any adjustments made to support your application (for example, if you require information in different formats, or if you have any accessibility issues), we’re more than happy to review our processes – please feel free to get in touch with us as recruitment@heineken.co.uk.

Please note we need valid right to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not offered for this role.
