We are looking for driven and ambitious payroll project manager professionals who are keen to develop a challenging and stimulating career. As an Project Manager you will play a critical role in onboarding new clients to EY’s Payroll Operate solution in the UK and globally. Your key responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of payroll projects, ensuring milestones are met on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, proactively managing risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Ensure the efficient use of resources, including planning and managing project staffing requirements.
  • Drive compliance with EY’s delivery methodology and project governance standards.
  • Own project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Manage changes to project scope, timelines, and resourcing in a controlled and transparent manner.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet client expectations and EY quality standards.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across project teams, functions, and geographies.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, providing regular progress updates and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

Ideally you will also have

  • Knowledge of payroll systems and payroll compliance (desirable but not essential)

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • Proven experience in project management environments.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and leadership capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
