Job Description

Help corporate and private equity clients shape and realise value

Programme overview

Our team works across the full transaction life cycle, delivering operational due diligence, integration/divestiture planning, value creation and operational turnaround for corporate and private equity clients. By helping clients unlock value and navigate transformative moments, you'll solve complex business challenges, shape strategic outcomes and create lasting impact as a Shaper of the future at every stage of the deal journey. Along the way, you’ll also work towards a recognised Chartered Institute of Management Accountants - Certificate in Business Accounting (CIMA CBA) qualification.

  • Analytical and systems thinking - Understanding businesses throughout the transaction lifecycle and evaluating the operational factors that drive investment value.

  • Collaboration - Working closely with project teams, clients and stakeholders to deliver solutions across complex transactions and transformations.

  • Ownership and proactive - Proactively contributing to engagements, practice development and taking responsibility for key workstreams.

  • Communication - Presenting insights clearly and translating complex operational findings into practical actions for clients and investors.

What you will be doing


  • Gaining exposure to the deal/investment “engine” including the diligence process, valuation process, stakeholders involved, bidder meetings and the deal negotiation process.

  • Supporting one of the many sectors we engage with on a daily basis, such as Private Equity; Technology, Media and Telecom and Consumer, Health, Sciences and Wellbeing.

  • Assisting with wider practice development tasks from recruitment through to learning and development.

  • Supporting improvement in businesses, identifying opportunities to realise incremental value.
