The opportunity

The Digital Content Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering digital content initiatives across ey.com and related platforms. The role ensures content production, optimization and publishing activities are delivered efficiently, consistently and in alignment with business priorities, governance requirements and evolving technology capabilities.

This is a delivery-focused role that translates content priorities into structured project plans and coordinates execution across multiple teams and regions. A key focus of the role is identifying opportunities to modernize content operations through the adoption of AI, automation and emerging technologies, continuously improving ways of working to increase efficiency, scalability and quality. The role drives operational transformation by redesigning workflows, reducing manual effort, optimizing processes and helping teams adapt to new technology-enabled delivery models that improve business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of digital content initiatives, including content optimization programs, publishing process improvements, workflow transformation initiatives and platform-related projects.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, delivery schedules, milestones, dependencies and reporting to ensure successful execution.
  • Coordinate delivery across BMC, SEO, GDS, regional teams and product/platform stakeholders to ensure priorities, timelines and responsibilities remain aligned.
  • Monitor project progress, risks, issues and dependencies, proactively driving resolution and escalation where required.
  • Support the consistent application of editorial, taxonomy, compliance and content governance standards throughout the content lifecycle.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation and emerging technologies to improve productivity, reduce manual effort and increase the scalability of content operations.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to evaluate, pilot and implement technology-enabled processes and new ways of working.
  • Lead workflow optimization initiatives that simplify processes, improve operational efficiency and support adoption of AI-assisted content production, optimization and publishing capabilities.
  • Drive change management activities associated with new tools, technologies and operating models, helping teams adapt to evolving ways of working.
  • Maintain project documentation, status reporting, decision logs and process guidance to support transparency and operational consistency.

Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience managing digital content, web, marketing operations, technology implementation or business transformation initiatives within a complex global environment.
  • Strong understanding of the digital content lifecycle, including content creation, optimization, publishing, governance and retirement.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise content management and marketing platforms, including AEM, Marketo and related digital experience technologies.
  • Understanding of SEO, GEO, content taxonomy and digital content governance principles.
  • Experience leveraging AI, automation and emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency, enhance content processes and enable scalable ways of working.
  • Understanding of how AI and technology are transforming content operations, publishing workflows and content supply chains, with the ability to identify opportunities to adapt processes and operating models accordingly.
  • Experience driving workflow optimization, process improvement and operational transformation initiatives that deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience working with Agile, hybrid delivery models or other structured project management methodologies.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives, priorities, risks and dependencies in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Ability to challenge existing processes and implement more effective ways of working through simplification, automation and technology adoption.
  • Understanding of EY's global operating environment, including regional considerations, stakeholder needs and compliance requirements such as GDPR and content governance standards.
  • Strong analytical, planning, communication, collaboration and change management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
