Sales/Marketing Summer Intern 2025 (US-only)

DESCRIPTION

Distinction Studio, Inc is a US-based startup in Greenville, SC, and sister agency to the UK-based, global customer experience and technology agency, Distinction.

We’re seeking a driven, enthusiastic marketing/sales intern to support our leadership team building our brand and new business pipeline. You’ll work closely and directly with our CEO, COO, and senior leadership to deliver our go-to-market strategy.

The internship will be for 8 weeks and is ideally suited to sophomores and juniors to get hands on experience. During the internship, you’ll be involved in both marketing and sales activities. Make no mistake, you won’t be running errands, you’ll be contributing meaningfully to growing our agency.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Working directly with our US CEO, shadowing sales and marketing activities
• Researching prospects, creating lead lists, creating personalized marketing campaigns and supporting content
• Learning and using the marketing and sales tools we use across inbound and outbound sales and marketing activities
• Setting up and monitoring the performance of marketing campaigns across ABM and social media channels
• Supporting sales activities, such as warm outreach, creating proposals and contributing to sales meetings
• Collaborating with our UK-based team to transition prospects into customers
• And at the end, to prepares and submit a summary of your experience to recap learning achievements.

START DATE

The internship will start in late May / early June, depending on your availability.

HOURS, PAY, BENEFITS & LOCATION

The role can be part-time (c. 20-25 hours) or full-time (c. 35 hours) per week.

The pay is $18 per hour. You’ll get 2 paid days holiday during the 8 weeks, but as this is a short internship there are no additional benefits.

The role is hybrid. We’ll agree which days/times you’ll be working in the office, and which days/times you’ll be working remotely.

QUALIFICATIONS

You must be in good academic and personal standing, but beyond that, we’re more about hiring the right attitude and work ethic than working through a checklist of previous education.
