Team Lead, Account Management

We’re looking for a Team Lead to join our Paris team. In this role, you’ll lead a team of Account Managers to scale our local French market, driving order volume and securing long-term strategic value with our top-tier restaurant partners.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be joining the FR Local team. We are the boots-on-the-ground experts responsible for the growth and health of our most important local brands, ensuring Deliveroo remains the platform of choice for the French culinary scene.
Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
Lead Regional Strategy: Define and execute the portfolio strategy for your market, ensuring sustainable growth, market share gains, and long-term profitability.
Drive Partner Performance: Manage a personal portfolio of up to four key restaurant groups, building joint business plans that solve operational challenges and unlock commercial opportunities.
Champion Team Excellence: Lead, coach, and develop a team of up to six Account Managers, setting clear KPIs and OKRs to accelerate their career growth and performance.
Manage Senior Stakeholders: Act as the face of Deliveroo for C-suite partners, leading quarterly business reviews and providing strategic insights on industry trends and competitive landscapes.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Operations, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure seamless execution and the best possible outcomes for our partners and customers.
What You’ll Need to Thrive
Essential
Significant Commercial Leadership: Proven experience in commercially focused roles with a track record of managing and developing account management teams.
Strategic Negotiation: Proven ability to handle complex negotiations with business owners and C-suite stakeholders.
Analytical Rigour: A strong command of data to identify trends, build business cases, and monitor market health.
Execution Focus: A mix of high-level strategic thinking and a "hands-on" approach to driving operational results in the field.
Linguistic Proficiency: Fluency in both French and English is required for this role.
Nice to Have
Previous experience in general management or as an entrepreneur/business owner.
A deep understanding of the French food-tech or hospitality landscape.
