Job Description

Head of Regions — France

Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation, and growth drive everything we do. At Deliveroo, we are tackling complex, real-time challenges across a three-sided marketplace—connecting millions of consumers with thousands of restaurants and riders in seconds. We move fast, value autonomy, and empower our leaders to own their results.

We are looking for a Head of Regions for France. Reporting directly to the France Commercial Director, you will be a core member of the French Commercial Leadership team. You will oversee the strategic and operational performance of a broad geography, managing major hubs such as Bordeaux, Lyon, Marseille, Lille, and Strasbourg. This is a senior leadership role with a direct impact on revenue growth, P&L performance, and the success of a team of 30+ highly committed professionals.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will act as the general manager for our regional operations, balancing high-level strategy with granular operational excellence across your territory.

  • Team Leadership & Culture: Build, coach, and lead an inclusive, high-performing commercial team. You will be responsible for the engagement and development of Regional, City, and Account Managers.

  • Strategic Growth: Define and drive the Consumer Value Proposition (CVP) by key locations. You’ll partner with local managers to ensure our selection and service levels meet Deliveroo's strategic goals in every city.

  • P&L Ownership: Manage the regional P&L with rigour, driving unit economics and budget management to achieve or exceed financial objectives.

  • Market Ambassadorship: Act as the face of Deliveroo for your region, influencing all three sides of the marketplace and building trust with local stakeholders and government bodies.

  • Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate effective B2B relationships with the senior leadership of our major mid-market partners, ensuring mutual growth and operational success.

  • Organizational Collaboration: Bridge the gap between central functions and local teams to ensure seamless execution of global initiatives with a local lens.

What You’ll Need to Thrive

We are looking for a "strategic operator" with 10+ years of experience managing high-growth, consumer-facing businesses:

  • Commercial Mastery: Exceptional skills in selling and negotiation, with a broad background in business development and general management.

  • Analytical Rigour: Deep analytical capability and financial acumen. You use data-driven insights to manage budgets, drive unit economics, and identify market opportunities.

  • Leadership Excellence: A proven track record of attracting top talent and leading large teams (30+) in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

  • Stakeholder Diplomacy: The ability to navigate complex networks and manage the sometimes conflicting needs of B2B partners, local authorities, and internal teams.

  • Resilience & Action: A strong "bias for action" and the resourcefulness to pursue opportunities relentlessly, even when faced with ambiguity or tight deadlines.

  • Market Insight: A strong vision for the French retail and restaurant landscape.

Why Join Us?

At Deliveroo, you’ll solve some of the most interesting questions in the tech-logistics space. Working here you can expect:

  • 🚀 Significant Commercial Impact: Your decisions directly shape the success of our largest European market.

  • 🌱 Entrepreneurial Autonomy: Own your regions like a business owner, supported by the technology and scale of a global leader.

  • 🧠 High-Level Exposure: Work as a trusted member of the French Commercial Leadership team to influence national strategy.
