In Trading Operations Certificates, students and full‑time employees work closely together in a collaborative team, where learning, responsibility and development go hand in hand—with support from experienced colleagues.

The role of student assistant

As a student assistant in Trading Operations Certificates team in Aalborg, you will work closely with traders and collaborate with other middle and back‑office teams, such as IT developers and settlement operations. You will gain hands‑on experience in the energy sector, with a focus on certificates for green energy production.

Your tasks will include managing certificates in registers, booking trades, assisting with OTC contracts, ensuring data quality, and staying up to date on market positions and trading activities.

Over time, you will gradually take on responsibility with thorough onboarding and continuous support from the team, while also contributing to improving our processes and shaping the role.

You will be part of a team where it is safe to ask questions, learn from mistakes and develop at your own pace.

Who we’re looking for

A person who:

• Communicates confidently in English

• Is enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s programme with at least 18 months of the studies left

• Can work 18–20 hours per week during office hours (8–16), with flexibility around studies and exams

• Enjoys working in a structured way and has strong attention to detail

• Is able to maintain an overview in busy periods

• Is comfortable with some manual processes and motivated to improve them together with other students

Your field of study is less important to us. What matters is curiosity, logical thinking, motivation to learn, and an interest in the energy sector. We value different perspectives and encourage students of all backgrounds to apply.
