Senior/Talent Acquisition Specialists (12 month secondment / 12 month PAYE day rate agency contract)

Our Talent Acquisition team is an inclusive high performing in-house recruitment team providing our businesses with talent acquisition delivery services and recruitment partnering. We cover end-to-end talent acquisition which includes internal moves; permanent external hiring and contract recruitment supported by our outsourced recruitment partner. You will be an experienced inhouse recruitment specialist focussed on delivery. We also need specialists with previous experience of delegating workload within teams and managing operational recruitment delivery.

Some travel will be required from time to time in order engage with stakeholders and collaborate with colleagues.

The Role

You will collaborate closely with stakeholders managing operational talent acquisition delivery within the team and helping to monitor team workload as applicable. This includes delivering your own requisition slate of circa 20-30 requisition at any one time. We are also looking for pure Talent Acquisition specialists to manage their own delivery slate of requisitions with the business.

You will need establish routes to market including direct to market recruitment, contingent hiring, early talent (grads/apprenticeships) and internal candidates, leveraging the Employer Value Proposition to ensure the business has access to the right talent to meet its short, medium and long-term capability needs. You’ll direct source for positions using traditional recruitment channels and social media. Taking a proactive approach to supporting the business and senior leaders in delivering against their D&I action plans will also be critical as we move towards our targets.

Working with leaders you will the ensure utilisation and development of Internal Talent as a viable route to market. You will also employ a variety of selection methods including, bespoke interview guides, psychometrics and case studies, advising hiring manager on best practice. At all times activity will be inline with relevant legislation and company standards.

You’ll support the business through periods of change, managing redeployment. Supporting some of our talent acquisition projects (AI enhancement, D&I and supplier management) will also be part of your role.

The Person

We would like you to have strong talent acquisition “know-how” including knowledge of specific channels, supplier capability and selection techniques. This must be in-house recruitment experience.

You’ll have significant experience of working in a talent acquisition function delivering a wide range of hires across multiple disciplines (from HSE, planning, Marketing to Data Science and beyond). Workday experience would also beneficial as that is the ATS we utilise.

Team lead experience would also be helpful / or experience of managing shared resource.

Digitally savvy you can use Social Media to enhance EVP and candidate engagement and you will also have the ability to understand the capability needs of the business unit and translate these into actionable talent acquisition strategies.

You are highly credible and diligent with a growth mindset who can build relationships quickly, whilst building an understanding of the business.
