An opportunity to play your part
Our product design team is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Product Designer who has proven user-centred design experience and detailed knowledge of UX methodology and practices.
Our Product Designers shape our services, championing our customers' needs. They help us explore, craft and improve intuitive, inspiring digital solutions for our 7.5 million residential energy customers.
Location: We have a hybrid-work environment, where you will be predominantly home-based but required to travel to office site occasionally

On a day-to-day basis you will be:
Responsible for upholding excellent customer experience for all the products and journeys within your squad.
Driving collaboration across teams.
Researching and understanding customer needs through explorative research, usability testing and data analysis
Working closely with Product Owners and Tech teams to ship high quality work
Contributing to our design systems and continuous improvement of ways of working within the team
Champion and maintain standards of design in the wider business function
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
We need you to have experience working across all parts of the design process – although it’s fine if you are stronger in some areas than others. This includes:
UX Research
UX Design
UI Design
Design thinking
Working in an agile environment, supporting and collaborating with multi disciplinary teams
Hands on experience in UX design and research disciplines, tools, and processes
Experienced in working and contributing to design systems and design standards in Figma
Education and Certifications: Design Degrees nice to have but not essential.
Competencies
Strong communication skills
Ability to create compelling and concise communications
Ability to spot problems and opportunities and make necessary changes
A genuine passion for improving collaboration and efficiency
Ability to organise and prioritise work from multiple stakeholders
