And to get where we’re going, we need a passionate and brilliant Net Zero Social Media & Content Lead to join us.

You’ll be an expert in social media and community building! We want to create a community of engaged Hive customers, in this role you’ll bring to life the world of Net Zero through engaging content and social activations that connects with our audience and guides them through their Net Zero journey.

You’ll be working across a range of net Zero solutions including Heat Pumps, Hive Thermostats, Solar and EV Charging, it’s an exciting time to be joining the team!

Reporting into the Head of Marketing, you’ll be empowered to lead Social and Content delivering fantastic content across a range of comms platforms that is always engaging and impactful.

Strategic growth of the Hive community, establishing ongoing and meaningful customer relationships

The role:

  • Managing the range of Social Media accounts including Facebook, Instagram, X, Tik Tok through to LinkedIn engagement and exploring new platforms
  • Strategic growth of the Hive community, establishing ongoing and meaningful customer relationships
  • Lead and manage social content from strategic planning to execution
  • Creating content with design-based experience that allows for swift organic delivery
  • Create attention-grabbing, platform-first creative that connects with and drives action from consumers
  • Delivering customer user generated content that can be delivered across multiple content platforms
  • Ownership of the content marketing roadmap and 12-month plan
  • 12-month budget management for the content plan & social channels
  • Working with our creative and media agency partners leading content activations from brief through to delivery
  • Develop best in class creative, guided by our brand purpose
  • Creating engaging Net Zero content that sits across Social Media, Websites, Partner platforms and Engineer channels
  • Creating a Test & Learn approach to our social content and comms

The person requirements:

  • Experience of managing Social Media platforms and content for innovative / high profile brands
  • Creativity! - experience of creating amazing content across a range of platforms.
  • A self-starter who can create and own projects from start to finish
  • Design experience and expertise a significant bonus, the ability to design and create content yourself
  • Amazing content is something you’re passionate about and can champion within the Net Zero business!
  • Managing multi-channel marketing campaigns with expertise across a spectrum of channels
  • Holding stakeholders and agency partners to account, ensuring all marketing communications drive customer growth and champion customer obsession

And you’ll have clear examples of:

  • Managing a range of stakeholders in a matrix organisation
  • Being able to influence
  • Customer-led thinking & creativity – passionate about the customer and meeting their needs
  • Understanding the complexities of operating in a regulated environment
  • Getting things done – “can do” attitude is a must
  • Strong attention to detail and enthusiasm for quality and consistency
  • Data-driven decision making, able to use data and insight to drive campaign effectiveness
  • Agency management
  • Budget management
