Location: Hybrid with occasional office travel for collaboration and team meetings. For example: Windsor, London, Leicester, Stockport

What you’ll do:

We have an exciting placement opportunity for a VOID Partnerships Manager within our Retail team.

In this role, you’ll manage relationships with key VOID partners, helping drive long-term success and strong commercial performance. You’ll support the growth of our residential VOID energy portfolio by contributing to sales and retention through valued consumer partnerships.

Your work will help strengthen British Gas as the brand other businesses choose to partner with, through differentiated propositions and positive customer experiences. During the placement, we’ll also build your knowledge of our Residential Billing platforms and the end-to-end account creation process.

During your placement, you will:

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with new and existing VOID partners, ensuring service levels are met and delivering excellent customer service

  • Work directly with partners to support collaboration and performance

  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive efficiencies and help deliver retention and growth strategies

  • Communicate with partners across multiple channels, resolving enquiries from start to finish

  • Support the smooth running and optimisation of partnership processes, ensuring regulatory standards are met

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Self-motivated with a positive, “can-do” attitude and a desire to make a difference

  • Quick to learn and comfortable working with new or complex processes

  • Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal and organisational skills

  • Able to manage your own workload, multitask and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment

  • Confident stakeholder manager, able to liaise with internal and external partners

  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to resolve queries effectively

  • Strong time management skills, able to prioritise and deliver multiple outcomes under pressure

  • Understanding of great customer service and end-to-end customer journeys

  • Committed to continuous learning and self-development

You’ll also have a dedicated business mentor, opportunities to meet senior leaders, and plenty of support to settle into your role.

Who the programme is for:

This placement is open to:

  • Military Service Leavers (leaving the Forces or within the 2-year CTP window at application)

  • Elite Athletes (international competition experience and/or professional UK sports experience within the last two years)
